Abstract
37 yo female with morbid obesity and obstructive sleep apnea who presented to the emergency department with fevers as high as 102.9°F, worsening shortness of breath, and a clear productive cough. She also endorsed pleuritic chest pain, diarrhea, and change in taste of food. She works in a healthcare facility. NP swab positive for COVID-19.
CT Scan Notes
(Typical) Large right upper lobe rounded consolidation with peripheral ground glass opacity extending to the periphery with similar findings to a lesser degree in the right middle, right lower, and left lower lobes. The very asymmetric distribution (right significantly worse than left) is atypical, but with an otherwise typical appearance.
